Welcome to the Integrity Pharmacy!
Integrity Pharmacy was born out of need. Our seniors face enormous challenges in managing multiple medications using traditional administration methods. 50% of all hospital, ER and nursing home admissions for seniors are the result of medication errors. In spite of all the advances in medical technology during the last twenty years, little has changed in the way medications are administered in the home environment…we believed there had to be a “better way”. By combining the latest automated packaging technology (used in state of the art institutional settings), with the professional competence and personalized touch of a home care nurse, we have truly developed a better way. Rick Cowan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas; graduated with a B.S. Pharmacy and M.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas. Rick then attended Pittsburg University where he received an M.B.A. Degree. In 2005, Rick received a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas.
Rick's first position after graduating was a a staff pharmacist at St John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. Since then, Rick has spent the last 16 years successfully mapping his career to be one of the most respected pharmacists in the area having a significant knowledge and understanding of national and international data standards, for research, clinical decision support and patient safety initiatives.
Rick is a registered pharmacist in both Missouri and Kansas.
Marissa Scott received her degree in Pharmacology from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2004. Marissa was the Pharmacy Manager of Walmart Pharmacy in Ozark for 3 years, then she accepted the position of Pharmacist in Charge at Dan's Discount Drug Mart before joining Integrity Pharmacy in October 2009.
Marissa is a registered Pharmacist in the State of Missouri.
